My interests are music, literature, wildlife conservation & TS advocacy. My 'professional' interests are : child-health, developmental paediatrics and neurology. I have worked in Special Needs Education with children with autism, Tourette Syndrome and other neuro-developmental disorders. I am active in supporting children and adults living with such disorders through writing and advising. I hope to help improve awareness, understanding and provision in healthcare and education. I have Tourette Syndrome.

My words reflect my own perspective and are not intended to provoke controversy but considered discussion and thought. The rich diversity of our thoughts and perspectives are, I believe, what defines us as individuals and should be valued. I have, also, always valued tolerance and compassion as important virtues and the unbiased pursuance of evidence-based science. I share my own, hopefully reasoned, thoughts and accept responsibility for them. As in us all, my life experiences have influenced the way I see the world. I make no excuses for those aspects of my neurological makeup over which I am denied complete mastery and which, I know, contribute in a not insignificant way to who I am.
